Last Sunday I told the people at the Eagle church that I would continue having services as long as people want to come. Then on Monday the recommendation came from the CDC via both President Trump and Governor Ricketts that gatherings of more than 10 people should be suspended. In light of those things and some further information about how strapped our hospitals are already, I think that we need to suspend worship services for at least a couple of weeks and reassess where we are and what guidance is being given as of March 30. I understand that the Lutheran church in Eagle has suspended in-person worship as well.
Jeanne and I will put a worship service together and will try to have it on the Eagle website and Facebook for you folks to watch. If everything goes right for us, Jeanne may be able to get it on the website and Facebook by Sunday morning.
Until we see one another again, keep safe, stay well, use your God-given reason to follow the best medical advice, and remember that God loves you and we do too.

UMCOR Sunday – previously known as One Great Hour of Sharing is Sunday, March 22. “We will receive donations on March 22 and 29. I tell people that if I could only support one United Methodist special offering this would be the one. I have seen firsthand the great work that the United Methodist Committee on Relief has done and encourage you to give generously.” Thank you, Brian
“Keep watch for when it will be rescheduled!”
